GRAND HOTEL DES PALMES * * * *
A charming hotel, one of the oldest in Palermo, with beautiful ballrooms and restaurant.
Opened in 1874, Ernesto Basile, one of the masters of Art Nouveau architecture, transformed this jewel into a hotel at the beginning of the century. An ultra-luxury address today among the most renowned in the world. Maupassant and Wagner, who according to legend, put the finishing touches to his Parsifal, have stayed here. We love the imperial charm of the building and the princely furnishings worthy of its rank, in a complex completely renovated in 2020. The restaurant and ballrooms are sumptuous with large chandeliers and stucco columns.
