Garden with palm trees located just in front of the Norman Palace where remains of Roman dwellings have been discovered

This pretty garden full of palm trees is located just in front of the Palais des Normands. It is unmistakable and we like to stroll there before or after the visit of the palace. In part of the park, remains of Roman dwellings have been discovered. There are magnificent mosaics such as the Orpheus mosaic currently kept in the Regional Archaeological Museum which we recommend you to visit. It is difficult to find shade in the garden, but if you have time a walk along the palm-lined paths can be very pleasant!
