GIARDINO GARIBALDI
A secluded garden with palm trees, beautiful magnolias and giant banyan trees that provide a shady spot for a break
Set in the centre of the vast Marina square, this beautiful garden seems isolated. It is planted with palm trees, superb magnolias and above all giant banyan trees among the largest in Europe; these gigantic ficus trees are native to New Zealand and have sprawling roots and lianas swinging from the branches. The shady spot is ideal for a short break from the hot sun. One walks in the alleys lined with statues of revolutionaries of the 19th century. On Sundays a flea market is held at its gates.
