This pub located near the cathedral of Monreale offers pasta dishes cooked with fresh products. It is really good and surprising because the address is modest. You can opt for a few tables set outside on a platform. You will also come here to quench your thirst with a wide choice of beers and wines. Concerts are organized on Friday evenings. The setting is very arty, musical and cinematographic, with vinyl covers from the 1970s and 1980s. Friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from the owners.

We went here a couple of times while staying in Monreale. The restaurant itself is very pleasant. The food was wonderful! I especially liked pasta with pistachio pesto, dried tomatoes, and stracciatella - this is something you should absolutely give a try! They use Busiate which is a Sicilian type of pasta that looks like a wide spring. And it works so well with all pesto/puree-like things, as it all stays on pasta pieces. The pasta was heavy and filling so you can be happy just with one dish here. They recommended some local wines, and all of them tasted great. Stuff doesn't speak English much, but you still can get an English menu and order what you want :)

Miejsce bardzo przytulne o niebanalny wystroju. Mimo, że byliśmy poza sezonem trudno było o wolny stolik. Na szczęście właściciel szybko znalazł rozwiązanie i mogliśmy cieszyć się atmosferą podczas czekania na posiłek. Menu jest dosyć krótkie, co uważam za duży plus. Jedzenie dostaliśmy bardzo szybko. Posiłki są proste, domowe i smaczne.
Czar prysł podczas płacenia rachunku, kiedy opłata za jedno z dań nie zgadzała się z ceną w menu. Różnica wynosiła 1€, niby niewiele ale strasznie mnie to zirytowało, ponieważ będąc na Sycylii, nie pierwszy raz spotykam się z sytuacją że sprzedawca/kelner podnosi mi rachunek o 1-2€ i ceny dań w menu nie zgadzają się z cenami na rachunku.
