Small town located on the side of a hill of 170 m of altitude between Mondello and Terrasini
Situated on the side of a 170-metre high hill between Mondello and Terrasini, about 20 kilometres from Palermo, this small town of 31,000 inhabitants is worth a detour first for the 15th-century Madonna of Mancino, which is housed in the chapel of its medieval castle, but also for its beautiful Baroque churches. Those interested in speleology can visit the reserves of the Grotta di Carburangeli and the Grotta dei Puntali. From Palermo a bus of the AST company passes by approximately every hour.
