POLO MUSEALE A. CORDICI
Municipal Palace with a beautiful collection of old books and incunabula in Erice
The Municipal Palace, like the adjacent building that now houses the library, is a building that dates back to the nineteenth century. It houses the Antonio Cordici Museum. Bibliophiles will discover a beautiful collection of old books and incunabula (books published between 1450 and 1500, in the early days of printing). The museum also displays archeological pieces and objects from the various civilizations that have succeeded each other in Erice; lovers of classical art will discover an interesting Assumption of 1525 by Antonello Gagini.
