This restaurant serves homemade food in the pure Sicilian tradition in a setting renovated in 2020. Too bad, we liked the 60's atmosphere with its speckled tile floor and rustic wooden chairs and the food seemed better before. Now it's all white modern furniture! No matter, here happiness is in the plate. For starters, think of the triptych of octopus salad, sardine balls in sweet and sour sauce and swordfish caponata. Then spaghetti with squid ink and the famous fish couscous.

Posto lontano dalle trappole per turisti. Ambiente interno poco caratteristico e un po' stretto, che lo rende molto rumoroso. Personale molto gentile ed attento al cliente! Abbiamo ordinato una caponata, veramente favolosa! Le busiate con il pesto alla trapanese, e il polpo, tutto molto buono. Il conto è risultato onesto tranne che per il polpo, che era una porzione misera con solo 5 tentacoli, per 18 euro. Il nome trattoria trae in inganno a quanto pare, nel complesso comunque ottima cena.
