AZIENDA MARCO DE BARTOLI
Ancient farm working vineyards of Phoenician period in Marsala
This internationally renowned old farmhouse works with vineyards from the Phoenician era such as Grillo, the famous Marsala, and Zibibbo, using the solera method. The aging is rigorous, left to natural cycles: the wine goes from larger to smaller barrels. Discover Marsala in barrels, some of them from the 19th century. The tasting is free, in an old cellar, a small wine museum. The De Bartoli family also produces Bukkuram, a natural sweet wine that ferments for a month under the August sun, a unique flavor.
