A restaurant appreciated by the natives and even an institution: the house has existed since 1972! The plates are elegant. Excellent homemade pasta dishes, fish and seafood to the fore, especially the famous red Mazzaro prawns, famous all over the island, served with a slice of grapefruit or the famous seafood couscous, generous in seafood. As a bonus: succulent desserts, carefully selected wine list with a beautiful range of island wines... One of the best addresses in the city and even in the region.

Das Bettola in Mazara del Vale empfängt stilvoll und mit einem schönen Ambiente. Die Bedienung ist höflich und die Speisekarte ist voll von herrlichen Fischspeisen. Der Chef nimmt persönlich die Bestellung auf. Als Vorspeise eine Fischplatte mit rohem Fisch. Sie war sehr gut. Leider hielt die Freude bis um 4 Uhr Nachts, denn dann stelle sich bei meinem Sohn Erbrechen und Durchfall ein. Dies endete später im Spital von Mazara weil eine Infusion nötig war. Diagnose der Ärztin dort: Lebensmittelvergiftung. Schade. Ein solch schöner und sympathischer Ort. Aber sorry Guys. Das ist wirklich ein No Go für mich. Darum nur 1 Stern.
Nachtrag zum Kommentar des Restaurants: Ich habe wie gewünscht das Restaurant per email kontaktiert. Keine Antwort erhalten.
