SAN SALVATORE CATHEDRAL
Cathedral founded between 1086 and 1093 whose interior contains many heterogeneous elements and Roman sarcophagi
This cathedral was founded between 1086 and 1093, but not much of the Norman style remains, apart from its chevet and structure. It contains many heterogeneous elements that make it interesting. Inside, in the choir, there is a statue, the group of the Transfiguration, of one of the Gagini, the father or the son (which we are beginning to get to know well), and many other interesting things, including Roman sarcophagi. On the way out, you can admire the other Baroque buildings in the square, the bishop's palace and the seminary.
