The Municipal Museum has taken advantage of the proximity of the illustrious city of Selinunte to present a first-rate archaeological collection, even though the famous bronze statue of the Ephebe is now in Palermo. It contains many ancient artefacts, such as the incredible Greek "lex sacra", a lead sheet on which a law is engraved (5th century BC), column capitals, a Byzantine stadera (5th century AD), those small so-called "Roman" scales that hang from the finger.
