This two-storey hotel-restaurant is located next to the famous abbey church. It includes classic rooms with double or twin beds and two family rooms. On the restaurant side, an amazing Franco-Thai menu, juggling between traditional cuisine (with Auvergne specialities) and Thai dishes. It is quite possible to adapt the dishes to vegetarians. Groups of up to 60 people can be accommodated. Very good value for money and a smiling welcome.

De passage à la Chaise Dieu, nous avons déjeuné au Lion D'Or. Repas simple mais bon, une carte avec du choix pour tous, équipe sympathique et souriante au service. Rien à redire.

6 chambres quand nous sommes arrivés 1 chambre avait été réservé,la personne de l accueil c est defosse sur les membres de sa famille pour une incompréhension de la réservation donc conclusion retour sur Lyon 2 h de route et un weekend gâché.tant pis pour eux 10 petit déjeuner et 10 dîner que nous ne prendrons pas .
