The train is not the best means of transport in this region of Sicily. Attention, because there are two stations in Agrigento: The central station and the Agrigento Agrigento station, which is very eccentric (3 km). Note that there is no deposit. You can reach Palermo in about two hours from the central station. To reach Catania, take about 4 hours of journey with a change to Caltanissetta Xirbi or Palermo. To reach Ragusa or Syracuse, better take the bus!
