Bel ristorante vicino al teatro, accogliente e con personale gentile; i prezzi non sono economici ma i cibi sono ben preparati, anche per chi è intollerante al glutine. Sconsiglio il pesce del giorno, troppo caro e, almeno nel nostro caso, servito intero ed un po' bruciacchiato; meglio scegliere dal menù.

Ottimo locale per una cena in città. Ambiente armonioso ed elegante, ma non impegnativo. Ottime le portate consumate per il sapore e la cottura. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Ottima esperienza come ogni volta. Nella fascia di prezzo dei 50 euro è una sicurezza di pesce fresco e giusti accostamenti nei piatti. Da sottolineare anche il pescato del giorno che era squisito come sempre.

Excellent Sicilian food. Menu explained too us with commentary on the local ingredients. Nice , helpful service and fresh fish. Well worth a visit.

Materia prima di ottima qualità selezionata e preparata con maestria dallo chef.
In un ambiente gradevole ed ospitale abbiamo potuto gustare ottimi piatti e scambiare qualche parola con lo chef.

Nous gardons un merveilleux souvenir de notre dîner dans ce restaurant. Le personnel charmant, le service attentionné et une cuisine somptueuse.

Nach einigen eher mittelmäßigen Erfahrungen in Agrigento waren wir heute im Ruga Reali essen.
Es war einfach wunderbar! Sehr angenehmes und ruhiges Ambiente! Das Essen war fantastisch, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und kinderfreundlich. Der Hauswein (Nero d‘Avola) war auch absolut okay, und der Preis (im Vergleich zu Berlin) ziemlich fair!
Da wir nicht alles essen konnten, was wir gerne wollten, werden wir morgen gleich noch einmal dort essen. Denn der fangfrische Fisch und diverse Desserts wollen ja schließlich auch noch probiert werden!

Nel pieno centro storico di Agrigento e di fronte il teatro Pirandello si trova questa graziosa osteria. Il locale è piuttosto piccolo (anche se dispone in estate di un ampio spazio all'aperto sulla terrazza sul retro) ma si ha subito la sensazione di entrare in un ambiente intimo e romantico, con luci soffuse e le varie locandine dei passati spettacoli susseguitisi nel vicino teatro Pirandello. Per quanto riguarda il vitto, prodotti di ottima qualità e ricercate composizioni ci hanno lasciati soddisfatti. Ampia scelta di vini. Prezzi nella media della zona. Consigliato soprattutto per una coppia.

We had lunch with 2 people. Very nice restaurant a bit hidden and not in plain sight. It was recommended to us when we visited the agrigento cathedral. Known by the locals is the best advice one could get.

Saw a photo of spaghetti and clams that looked great, decided to go, once there realized it's not a place to just order pasta. It's the kind of place with white tablecloths and the fish of the day is brought to your table.

Food was excellent! Just a bit awkward being somewhere with higher expectations to order more then we wanted to.

The food was good but a touch pricey. The wine was meh. Service was nice enough but waiter seemed distracted. It was good but not great. Conveniente to our stay, which was a plus.

Tre piatti presenti sul menu, risultavano non disponibili quando richiesti. Abbiamo deviato su altro ma i primi sono stati un po' deludenti... un primo con paccheri quasi crudi e l'altro con pesto e mandorle, fondamento solo una pasta al pesto. Inutile far presente che i paccheri erano duri, viene risposto che i paccheri non cuociono più di così, anche se li tieni ancora in pentola!... curioso!! A parte questo erano al pomodoro... con tracce sparute di gamberi. La tagliata di carne e la tartare di tonno erano buoni. Prezzi medio alti, un po' ingiustificati.

Excellent food, we only had issues with the service.
I went with my family, a group of 6 people to dine in. Started with a mix of ham, sausages, cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. It was delicious!
Following the starters, we ordered our main dishes, which were the primo piatto "paccheri", "Parpadelle al ragù of black pig", and also the Fish of the day (shared by 3). All of them had incredible flavours and tasted really good! Together with this, we had also 3 bottles of really good Sicilian wines...!

The only problem we had was mainly with one of the orders that apparently got delayed/forgotten somewhere in the kitchen. .
Also, it is worth mentioning that when it was time to pay, credit card was not working (???) and it took a while to process the payment. For some moment I didn't feel safe to use my credit/debit card in this place. Maybe it's better to be prepared to pay in cash instead.
