CATTEDRALE SANTA MARIA DEI GRECI
Cathedral with 3 naves and traces of frescoes from the 14th century
A Norman construction of the 12th century, it stands on top of a Doric temple of the5th century B.C., some traces of which can be found in its interior with 3 naves, enriched with frescoes of the 14th century. It is preceded by a small courtyard that exudes calm and serenity. Inside there are traces of 14th century frescoes. From the nave on the left, it is possible to access through a corridor to the northern base of the Doric temple where one can still see drums of columns.
