The cathedral, built after the earthquake (1718-1778), has a monumental façade with three richly decorated portals. The belfry ends with a spire. One can climb up there to admire the view! Basilical plan with 3 naves opening on 19th century chapels, with precious stucco decorations. The dome is adorned with fine frescoes, the organ is monumental. The renovated cathedral museum exhibits jewellery, paintings and priestly ornaments.
