This unusual church is a former priory belonging to the abbey of La Chaise-Dieu.

At first glance, the church of La Chapelle-Geneste has nothing exceptional. However, it would be a mistake not to stop and take the time to observe it, both inside and outside. It is indeed the recent bell tower which misleads us. Former priory depending on the abbey of La Chaise-Dieu (Casa dei site), all the stones are visible and the Romanesque choir is in "cul de four". Don't hesitate to walk the 6 kilometers that separate La Chapelle-Geneste from La Chaise-Dieu to discover this unusual church.
