Hotel Gutkowski's restaurant is a welcome change from the usual Ortigia fare: its rooftop terrace guarantees a marvellous unobstructed view of the sea and the edge of the peninsula, especially at sunset. On the plate, fine local specialties beautifully arranged in small gourmet portions, delicate and delicious. For starters, let yourself be tempted by a harmonious chickpea and mustard mousse with caramelized pineapple, vegetable salad and onions; for the main course, the grilled sea bream was divine. A fine wine list.
