This 15th century farmhouse is an exceptional guest house. Carmelo is happy to tell the story of its small museum of objects of yesteryear, and its orchard of trees crumbling under the fruit. A large swimming pool extends its deckchairs in this paradise. Emilia, passionate about Sicilian gastronomy, gives lessons in her kitchen. The house does not by chance offer an organic Sicilian dinner. You can choose between old-fashioned rooms, more luxurious suites facing the garden or charming rooms in annexes. Olive oil tastings, horseback riding.

The most relaxed i have been since I came out of the womb! Wonderful family that runs the masseria, amazing organic breakfast, beautiful rooms, cutest cats and dogs around the farm, I would go back every year!

Qui si sente l'autenticità di una terra piena di storia e cultura; al contempo, grazie all'accoglienza del signor Carmelo e della signora Emilia nonché di tutto il personale, si respira un'aria di casa. A due passi dalla splendida Siracusa e da alcune delle più belle spiagge della Sicilia, immersi in una natura suggestiva e nella quiete, si viene letteralmente nutriti - Emilia è una cuoca eccezionale - dai profumi e dai sapori di quella che fu la Magna Grecia. Arance, pomodori, ricotta, vino dell'Etna e piatti della tradizione più genuina aggiungono piacere ad un soggiorno già di per sé estremamente gradevole.
Un luogo dove si ha voglia di ritornare.

Siamo ritornati in questo meraviglioso casale dopo 12 anni e abbiamo ritrovato la cortesia e la disponibilità di Carmelo e della moglie. Ottima la posizione per visitare Siracusa, Noto e dintorni. Le camere pulite e spaziose. La colazione varia, di qualità, ricca di prodotti fatti in casa (torte, marmellate e yogurt). Possibilità di utilizzare la piscina immersa nel verde. Come splendida conclusione della vacanza, ci è stato concesso di raccogliere patate nel terreno circostante, che ci sono state gentilmente offerte.
Un posto assolutamente da consigliare.
