Museum dedicated to Vincenzo Bellini in a palace in Catania.
Opera composer of the 19th century, Vincenzo Bellini is obviously the pride of Catania. In this 18th century palace called Gravina Cruylas, which became a national monument on 23 November 1923, the musician was born in November 1801. From now on, many photographic documents, letters, paintings, and a few pieces of furniture, including, of course, superb pianos, are gathered there. Bellini's coffin, brought back from Paris where he died, is also on display. A well-documented library is dedicated to the musician and his creation.
