On the second floor of the building is the apartment where the emblematic writer of verism, Giovanni Verga, lived his childhood and part of his life in Catania. This is an opportunity to discover a Catalan interior from the end of the last century. A journey back in time, because everything has been preserved, the furniture, the objects, including the writer's wardrobe. The library, with some 2,500 volumes, is interesting. There are also portraits of the novelist.
