Remains of the Greek and Byzantine era in an archaeological museum with a beautiful view at the top of Cape Schiso in Giardini Naxos.
It is superbly situated on the top of Cape Schiso, from where one can enjoy a magnificent view. The museum is mainly made up of finds from excavations carried out at the archaeological site of the first Greek colony in Sicily. On the ground floor, the exhibits date back to the Neolithic era. On the first floor, remains from the Greek and Byzantine periods are on display. There are also necropolises from the Roman and Byzantine eras.
