The Antico Caffè San Giorgio is a historic venue located in Castelmola's Piazza Sant'Antonio. Founded in the 18th century by monks, it has evolved over the years into a popular café. Inside, visitors can admire a special collection of autographs from famous personalities who have visited the café. The place is world-famous for its almond wine, also known as "Blandanino", created by owner Don Vincenzo Blandano. This wine is made from Insolia and Catarratto grapes, flavored with bitter almonds, citrus essences and natural aromas. Some numbered bottles of the original wine are still on display in the restaurant.
