Charming agriturismo with a panoramic view and a restaurant
This charmingagriturismo offers just four rooms in old farmhouses, each with a panoramic view of the Alcantara Valley. They have been luxuriously restored in a 17th century village, and both the farmhouse and the hamlet have a truly picturesque, Sicilian feel. In the middle of nature, the change of scenery and tranquillity are assured by the sumptuous swimming pool, in the middle of a beautiful orange grove. The restaurant serves excellent local specialities to make it even better.

Il Borgo is een gerenoveerd herenhuis met een buitenzwembad. Het is een heerlijk rustig plekje in het prachtige landschap van de boerderij Terralcantara, omgeven door meer dan honderd hectare olijfbomen, wijngaarden en citrusboomgaarden die geleidelijk afdalen naar de zee. Stijlvol herenhuis/mini kasteeltje in de de Alcantara kloof wat een spectaculair uitzicht geeft. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en de sfeer is heel gastvrij. Ideaal voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen maar ook eventueel voor wat oudere kids of (jong)stel. Ontbijt is uitstekend op orde en avondeten is elke dag een menu. Hier worden echte Italiaanse gerechte gemaakt. Laat je verrassen door de chef en maak herinneringen met elkaar. Aanrader.

Borgo molto carino e romantico ai piedi delle gole dell'alcantara. Per me e mia moglie è stata una esperienza certamente positiva. Personale molto disponibile e cordiale, cena ottima, camera confortevole e molto pulita. Se avremo voglia di una nuova vacanza da queste parti sarà quasi sicuramente una esperienza da ripetere.

Wir waren für 4 Übernachtungen im Mai dort und hatten eine Junior Suite im Altbau. Das Personal dort ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut mit frischen Zutaten aus der Region und liebevoll angerichtet. Das Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen, sehr sauber und hübsch eingerichtet mit schönem Blick auf die herrliche Landschaft. Sehr großzügige Räumlichkeit mit großem Bad und Badewanne. Einzig die Betten waren für unseren Geschmack ziemlich unbequem und hart, sehr schade, daher leider 1 Stern Abzug. Da es recht kühl war konnten wir den Pool nicht nutzen, jedoch auf der schönen Terrasse einen Aperitiv nehmen.

This is a beautiful borgo. Well organised, clean with lovely restaurant. Very lovely surrounding countryside. Highly recommended.
