On the menu, we really liked the eggplant and olive meatballs with tomato sauce, fresh ricotta and basil, as well as the rosemary braised beef with saffron mashed potatoes. The restaurant also serves as a bookshop where you can browse the international press. The place is very design and pleasant, the atmosphere pure and artistic. A magnificent terrace with temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists: a haven of peace. The house organizes vernissages, piano concerts (ask for the program)... A beautiful place.

Restaurant gastronomique situé dans le centre historique de Cefalù, à deux pas de la cathédrale, avec une superbe terrasse et une ambiance un peu chicos. L'angus est d'une excellente qualité. A recommander sans problème.
The place resort as a "literary café" but it is more than that. It is both (and harmoniously) a coffee (variety of cocktails with or without alcohol) where you can do Italian and international press (French, English, German), an excellent restaurant, the chef Totuccio Culotta, offer a creative mediterranean cuisine (very fine menu of sicilian wines), a bookshop where books (including languages other than Italian) can be consulted on site and obviously bought, Internet point and a fax service and a remarkable space for temporary exhibitions of young people (and less young) painters and photographers (Charlotte Infanteline, Rosalia Liberto, Silvana Schittino, Rita Pirello, Pippo Nicoletti, Giuseppe Castiglia, etc.). A lively square, the architect Salvatore Curcio, where you can meet artists, writers or stroll moment listening to the fountain in the courtyard, with two steps from the bustle of Piazza Duomo. In the historic centre of Cefalú, La Galleria is located in the buildings Musée Mandralisca (entrance by the Museum, via Mandralisca, 23 or Via November XXV, 22/24. A good 20% discount on all consumption La Galleria for each entrance ticket with the Museum. The two animators La Galleria, Angelo Daino and Giuseppe Provenza, speak French and English). Ask for their taste the olive oil San Mauro Castelverde in Madonie sold under the label of La Galleria.
