The latest hotel to be built in Stromboli, Il Gabbiano is truly unique with its heavenly translucent blue-green pool, set amongst the vegetation. The view of Stromboli is spectacular, especially from the terrace of some apartments. All of them have one or two bedrooms and ground floor areas in the garden with deck chairs. Designed to feel "at home", the decoration is arty, different from the local style. Breakfast is served directly in the apartments. The friendly Federica will welcome you in French.

The place is quiet, relaxing, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is also excellent. The breakfast is very good, delivered to the rooms every morning. And most important: this place is made up of wonderful people, always ready to meet your needs. Thank you! Highly recommend

I was with a group of 10 people sea kayaking the Aeolian Islands. Stayed here for 3 nights. Fredericka and her staff could not have been more accommodating. We had an early ferry so Fredericka made sure to deliver breakfast, including fresh croissants, the night before we left. Great pool with a great view. Make sure to have dinner by the pool. The chef is outstanding. I would not hesitate to return.
