The bus station is located at the same place as the train station. The Greyhound company is located there and serves about 20 cities and towns in Louisiana, in addition to connecting with the rest of the country. There are also two low-cost companies, Megabus (us.megabus.com) which allows to go to Baton Rouge and elsewhere in the United States, and FlixBus (flixbus.fr/bus/etats-unis) which serves Baton Rouge, Lafayette and other American cities.

Assez pratique pour qui veut voyager à bas cout aux Etats unis (dos sensibles s'abstenir) on peut rejoindre Houston en quelques heures, voire même Austin ou San antonio (pour l'avoir fait c'est plutôt long !) mais les tarifs défient toute concurrence. Non loin de là on trouve les navettes LA SWIFT qui relient NOLA à Baton Rouge en une heure trente environ.
