Muriel's is a New Orleans institution, prized for its elegance and historic ambiance. Made up of several magnificent rooms, you don't always hear yourself talk, but you come for the general ambiance and the refined, authentic and generous Creole cuisine. What makes this restaurant so special is its 3-course table d'hôte menu, which is very reasonably priced and includes a number of must-tries, such as the famous " gumbo" or " shrimps and grits ", and for dessert, the no less memorable dark chocolate and pecan tart.
