SHAYA
Alon Shaya is one of John Besh's disciples, the famous and looks chef. He is also Israeli and won the award of the best head of the south in 2015, the prestigious James Beard Award. Quite rightly. The Shaya restaurant (it also manages Domenica and Pizza Domenica, for tighter budgets) would be its dream of always: honour its original cuisine (Middle East) and double its unique experience. He even admits that he had opened this little corner of Mediterranean to the blue délavé just for his hummus. A taste of smoothness and balance. Trust at random, you won't be disappointed. Shaya is one of the few places where you can find fresh bread, pita, cooked on-site with wood fire. Of course, he works with local farmers and adjusts his card according to the seasons. Shaya is a pearl in the Alsatian culinary jungle.
