The first thing that strikes you as you walk through the door is the design of the place. The historic building, which once served as a seafood market, has been restored to its full glory after nearly being completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Reopened with great fanfare in 2015, it now houses gourmet booths from various restaurateurs in the city. One comes here to have a good espresso or latte, savor dishes with world flavors or have a drink at the bar to highlight the well-deserved aperitif.
