A common question and topic of discussion among locals: who makes the best muffuletta? The place to order this Sicilian-American sandwich is surely Central Grocery. The muffuletta is a (rather large) round loaf of bread with ham, salami, mozzarella, olives and salad, plus some extra stuffing. It's all US size, i.e. big. The store is overflowing with jars of sausages and cheeses. Don't expect a smile from the waiter, it's not the house style. Perfect for the hungry.

Très bon restaurant sur le plan culinaire. J'y ai été l'année dernière lors de mon passage à La Nouvelle-Orléans. Leur cuisine était au top!
