Nothing very original, if you are Parisian, to go to Galatoire. The place and the atmosphere are similar to Chartier. The regulars prefer the original first floor room. The best thing is to come on Friday lunchtime, take a table and stay all afternoon. On the menu: fried oyster skewers and bacon, fish stuffed with crab meat, and the famous shrimp remoulade. The sazerac is still the cocktail consumed at every table for years. The rudeness and frankness of the waiters contribute to the atmosphere.
