Opened by friendly New Yorker David, The Quisby sits on St. Charles Avenue, a stone's throw from the streetcar and not far from a host of bars and restaurants. We appreciate its relaxed, urban atmosphere. The large lobby, which doubles as a reception area and bar, is an essential meeting point for drinks and socializing with fellow travelers. After a minor overhaul, The Quisby now offers only functional, comfortable double rooms, all with private bathrooms. A top address!

I wouldnt go for the breakfast, it's not that great but it's pretty nice to grab some coffee a tiny bite.
The living room / bar is surprisingly comfortable for what on a process level is missing some optimizations for where things are (mainly, I'm talking about that kitchen).
Sometimes the bar is less obviously attended because folks mainly attend the front desk, so maybe the two could be integrated better
The biggest thing is it's quite clean for a cheap hostel and I fled from a much dirtier one and was very happy with the people and energy at quisby
