The place itself is very well maintained and clean. But what really made this place a total gem is the staff working here - they do a phenomenal job bringing people together, and showed us a lot of neat spots downtown. Met so many cool people here!

I had a great weekend trip at Auberge NOLA with a close friend from college. The event organizers hosted fun pregames and bar crawls which was a great way to meet other guests. Shoutout Kat, Alex, Dasha, and Harmonie! The rooms and bathrooms were also very clean, comfortable beds, spacious showers and private bathrooms. Lastly, this hostel knows how to take care of their guests - they have FREE LIQUID IV for those in need of a hangover cure!!

Definition of a great Party Hostel. It was very affordable and everyone from the guests to the volunteers are so friendly and easy to talk to. Their pregames were a blast and it was nice to be able to go into town with a group of people! Don't expect to much sleep if you're staying here but the experience is worth it and would highly recommend this place to anyone solo traveling/traveling with a friend in New Orleans!

Had a great time, everyone I met was very friendly & fun to hang out with! Also a beautiful house— I got to sleep in two rooms during my stay and they were pretty different looking but comfortable, and I enjoyed getting to see more parts of the house.

Stayed here twice. Best Hostel I have ever been a guest in. Staff were amazing. Loved the drinking games and pub crawls. Highly recommended

As a traveler who has stayed in many hostels throughout Asia, Mexico, and Europe, Auberge is one of the most memorable hostels I have stayed at. I loved meeting and going out with everyone working at the hostel. Ren, Kat, and Maelle had great recommendations outside of typical tourist spots. The house is super clean but also perfect for lounging around and watching a movie. I extended my stay twice while I was there (from 2 days to 6 days). For me the location was also perfectly situated between the French Quarter and the Garden District— not on a loud busy street but within walking distance of places to go out. Will definitely be back!

他の宿にはない食器洗浄機がある。シャワー室にはシャワーが二つ付いていて、身体の前と背後が同時に流せる。至る所に暖房が備わっており、寒い時にいつでも点けることができる。また、ところどころにオシャレな絵も飾られている。ここまで完璧！しかしながら、宿泊施設と呼ぶには大きな問題がいくつかある。私が予約したのは一階の10台ベッド部屋。寝室の壁一枚を隔てて、屋外にはパーティ会場、屋内には映画館を兼ねたコモンルームがある。ここはパーティで有名なホステル。私の滞在中も、パーティがあった。パーティ終了の時間は23時と決まってた。だが、残念なことに就寝時間は決まってなかった。パーティの後に残った数人が隣の部屋で1時まで映画を見ながら話をしていた。その中には従業員もいた。更に深刻な問題が一つ。従業員がチェックインのときに客に十分な情報を提供していない。３連泊最後の日、外出から帰り、パスワードを入力して中に入ろうとしたが、できれなかった。仕方ないのでドアベルで人を呼んで中に入った。その後、キッチンで昼食を採ろうと思って冷蔵庫を開けると私の食べ物がなくなっていた。従業員に問うと、捨ててしまったとのこと。参った！困った！腹減った！「入り口のパスワード変更についてのお知らせはEmailで、冷蔵庫の整理についてのお知らせは宿のWhatAppアカウントに送った」と説明。そんなこと何も聞いてない！私は宿用のWhatAppを登録してないし、外出中にWiFiにつなげられない。なので宿のやっていることは、私にとっては単なる嫌がらせにしか過ぎなかった。もし夜遅く、誰もいないときに空腹で帰ってきたら、、、と考えるだけでぞっとした。

So I never even got to see a room. I reserved a bed early morning and later on called when I had issues with my card. When I explained that I was here for work and between housing, I was told that was fine. When I finally get there to check-in, suddenly I need proof of an exit date. Mind you, I'm not local and have an out of state Id.
The girl to front didn't ask if my living here would be temporary or permanent, just "Sorry" and now I'm spending the night in 45 degree weather.

Worst hostel I have ever been to in the world. Have been to many. Got interrogated at the door by receptionist Evan Smet and told I could not stay because i would not tell him the names of people i have stayed with in nola. Will see if refund goes through.

Didn't want to leave this review, but people make places. I was treated by one of the staff members pretty rudely. Told because I made money in the city as a performer that I can't stay. Didn't make any sense because I'm a traveler.

It was my first hostel experience in The US. I stayed 3 nights. Rooms and common areas were very clean. Location of the hostel is good enough. You can reach many touristic area by street car, easily. To met and spent time with volunteer friends from different countries and cultures was very nice. All of them were super friendly. Thank you!

Very, very clean and renovated/updated place. Probably the cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed at. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs - lots of squeaky floorboards and they come in from partying at about 2-3am. I would say if you're not into the party environment, you may want to think carefully before booking.

The only thing I have to ding them on is that the toilets on my floor were inaccessible during my entire stay, despite promising they'd only be out one night.

Some amenities they could include if they really wanted to enhance the experience: curtains for the beds!

I had heard good things about this place and it was all 100% true! This is one of those hostels where you could stay for a long time with a great social atmosphere, nice and inviting staff, and nightly activities so it's easy to meet people. I also thought the place itself was super unique because it's a New Orleans style mansion. We got the private room and it was very clean and had everything we needed, including a private bathroom. We will be back during our next stay for sure!

We stayed for the week-end with 6 friends for a birthday.
The auberge is very nice, very cozy and everything is provided (shower gel, coffee).
The girls who work there are so kind.
You can meet easily a ton of people
I felt like at home for 2 days, I'd highly recommended this Hostel for your trip in New Orleans
