PARK VIEW HISTORIC HOTEL
Park View Historic Hotel has rooms and units that offer access to a balcony with a view of the park.
Located literally next to Audubon Park, this historic landmark house houses just over two dozen rooms spread over three floors (note that there is no elevator). Some units have a mid-19th century antique plantation bed, while others offer access to a balcony overlooking the park. In short, a nice place where many Europeans and families stay. It is mainly frequented by the families of students from nearby universities during graduation ceremonies in May.

Yes the hotel is quaint and historical and the setting is beautiful. All of this is let down by the lacklustre staff at reception (her feet never left the counter) and the “breakfast” that takes self service to the next level.
When asked multiple times for the basics including silverware the server replied “I’m tired”
Such a shame that the team at this hotel do not represent this amazing place is. ????????
We will definitely return!
