This charming B & B is located in a house of the 1890 s. During the renovation, everything was done to preserve authenticity: the eight chimneys, the parquet floor, the height of twelve feet and certain ceiling mouldings, shutters and doors and fenètres. The four rooms with private bathroom share the patio, Jacuzzi, kitchen, dining room, library and cyber café.
Close to the French Quarter, Carl Smith, the owner, can give you all the pipes for a good stay. He speaks French and fluently German. During the night, avoid walking.

This is a cute place in a great Marigny neighborhood. Walkable to all kinds of great food, art, and the Quarter. The owners are fabulous and even texted me the day before I flew in to make sure they knew when we would arrive. Clean hot tub that we always had to ourselves. The rooms are very average. My only downside to this place. The mattress was cheap and the bed creaky. The lightbulbs in the lamps were severe, like bright fluorescent. Shower took about 6 minutes to get hot (not exaggerating). Wifi was pretty rough. Overall, I would recommend and would stay there again

Not fancy, but very comfortable, and in a great location. If I had a quibble, it would be that the internet could have been faster and the signal stronger... That said, I will check their availability the next time I am in New Orleans. The hosts were great.

Had a great stay at the Burgundy! Joe and Federico were great hosts. The location is fantastic - in a quiet neighborhood, but a quick walk to major destinations. Breakfast was solid. Little quirks with the house being old, and the wifi connection in the room wasn't great. But, the hospitality and location make this place well worth it.

Friendly Joe waited for us to check us in even when we arrived very late in the evening because of delays. The breakfast that Fredericko is making is delicious and he is such a kind and friendly person. It’s it a warm and relaxed house to stay. Highly recommended.

Owners are great Our room is great. Breakfast is great. Location is perfect if you’re walking to the Phoenix\Eagle or day-walking / night-riding to Bourbon.
