If you are traveling from far, and just aren't sure which place will provide the experience you are looking for...just book this place and thank me later. The most accommodating, polite, knowledgeable, and charming staff will blow you away just like the historic beautiful buildings will. Everything about our stay was perfect, and unique. We will never forget this place.

Amazingly kind and hospitable. Manager reach out ahead of time to know when we were arriving and if we had questions. Free parking right next door. Firm mattresses, which I love (can’t stand pillow stops). Incredibly fun vibe - colorful, laid back. This awesome lady spins a-tracks records in the dance hall warehouse in the courtyard in the evening and it was such fun. Rooms are clean. Hot water and coffee available in the dining area. New fav hotel/lodging in NOLA and pretty much anywhere. Perfect happy vibes.

Excellent hotel stayed for 4 nights in one of the cottage rooms - plenty of space and very comfortable. Included was a free breakfast each day and 24/7 coffee and teas. Best part is there are no card holds no extras added on and very friendly staff. In addition the manager allowed us to stay way past our check out time as we had an evening flight for zero charges. Totally recommend when staying in Nola.

I felt very welcome. The place is very quiet. Nice morning breakfast. Also very close to WWII museum and conference center with plenty of options for dining. Will go back.

A quirky, welcoming place, a bit off the beaten path. Staff was very accommodating. Price included parking and breakfast. Great for a one night stay.

If you love excellent customer service, this is the place for you!! The hosts were so personable. They took the time to get to know each guest and shared experiences. We had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving with Ms. Annie and Ms. Andrea. It was just like having Thanksgiving dinner with the family. Might I add, there was no charge for Thanksgiving dinner. Friday night, we got to experience DJ Annie. What a great time! The rooms are very nostalgic. Not your modern hotel setup. Don’t expect to find charging stations for your devices, or the modern conveniences you are accustomed to. I highly recommend the Creole Gardens for the perfect nostalgic visit!

We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more during our stay here. If ever back in New Orleans we would definitely stay again! The rooms are gorgeously appointed and the staff is welcoming and warm. Felt like we were staying with friends. The historic home and grounds added a unique local experience that you cannot get at a chain hotel. We will miss it!

Tolle Location, freundliche und zuvor kommende Menschen, die dort tätig sind. Ruhige Lage nah am Geschehen. Gutes Frühstück.

We loved everything about this place. Quirky, colorful, and historically old with tons of artwork everywhere. Lots of personality. Our room was super cute and we slept comfortably in the bed. We enjoyed hanging out on the private balcony.

They are super pet friendly which is fantastic.

Breakfast is good and if you ask nicely Ms. Anne will cook you some eggs in your preferred way.

Everybody is so so friendly and welcoming that they have us convinced that we need to come back.

We felt safe in the neighborhood. Everything is highly walkable. If you really like walking you can walk to the French quarter but otherwise the streetcar is a very short walk away. Magazine Street is right there as well.

If you are put off by creaky old houses this is not the place for you. We however have never been so glad that we chose to not book at a chain hotel.

Looks like they are expanding to the nearby buildings, were excited to see what the outcome of that will be.

We'll be back for sure!

Oikein hieno ja viihtyisä paikka. Auton saa parkkiin kulman taakse. Raitiovaunulla pääsee läheltä keskustaan. Alakerran mukava emäntä keittää aamuisin maukkaat kahvit.

Such a cute place!! So so easy to take the street car to the French quarter but felt safe leaving my car on the street in this neighborhood. The hosts are amazing and the free breakfast is way better than hotel breakfast!! 10/10 recommend staying here

My friends and I love the Creole Gardens. It's like a great backyard oasis. It gets high marks for charm & personal service. The owner and staff are friendly and always around to chat and provide insight to the city. Annie serves up tasty, simple southern breakfasts then becomes "Queen Annie" and spins tunes in The Roadhouse some nights. You could talk with her about New Orleans music for days.
The place isn't fancy. The regular rooms are small, quaint, quirky, and very charming and their themed rooms add a dose of N'Awlins flair. The location is convenient; walking distance to many cool places in the district and the St. Charles streetcars are just behind the hotel for a fun, easy ride to the French Quarter.
Creole Gardens is comfortable and easy-going. If you're looking for the feel of the city, not a posh luxury hotel, this is the place. ✌️????

This is the best place to stay in New Orleans, perfect location in the Garden District, one block from the streetcar line on St Charles. Food is incredible, the people will mark your life forever, they are my home away from home. It's the only place I stay when I come to NOLA.

Really cute place with tons of character. Annie makes a great breakfast!

Authentically New Orleans, not a kitchy tourist trap (I say this as a former local). Each room is unique, with some beimg downright eccentric. Our room had a balcony that you access through a window, as well as a mirror collection. And there's a free breakfast where the sweetest lady will make you eggs!

Wonderful 4 day stay in the 1840s mansion that is the Creole Gardens hotel. In the Garden District only one block from the trolley. I always felt more like a friend than a guest. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable that I hated to leave. The price is so right compared to the outrageous hotel prices in New Orleans. Great breakfast shared with staff who had many great stories to tell. I hope that I will be able to come back again sometime real soon. Loved it, try it, you will also love it.

A unique hotel with a long history!! We enjoyed the room. Claw foot bath. Colorful courtyard. Friendly welcoming people. It was a great experience!!

Great location (close to the trolley line), with free parking and breakfast. The hotel itself is ia step back in time. Andy was the best on the helpful and hospitality scales.

Beautiful place to stay. The building is colorful and the rooms are very good size. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to the streetcar station. Andrea is very nice and the yellow watermelon in the breakfast was delicious.
My husband me and Pancha (our dog) enjoyed a lot our stay here!
