THE OLD NO. 77 HOTEL
Hotel with spacious rooms, decorated, between tradition and modernity, excellent value for money
This iconic hotel, with its undeniable cachet, is located in a historic 19th-century building, just a few minutes' walk from the French Quarter. The atmosphere is captivating from the moment you enter the lobby. The rooms are spacious and elegant, some brighter than others, with a contemporary decor punctuated by works of art. Its location slightly removed from the hustle and bustle, its very pleasant bar, its renowned restaurant (Compère Lapin) and its good value for money, make it one of the best addresses in New Orleans.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
1. Throughout the stay, the Internet was only available 35% of the time.
2. We were put into a room that had construction (which included hammering on the wall of our room) on the outside window at 8am the first day. This resulted in a room change.
3. The front desk general was un-friendly and did not seem to care if we were there.
4. In an 8 night stay the room was only cleaned once(the night we left).
5. Maintenance of the hotel was greatly lacking. We had visited 4-5 years ago and loved the hotel, but this time the bathrooms were in disrepair, and the hallway carpet was terribly warn.
6. The hotel offered no full breakfast.
7. The restaurant would not seat us for drinks.
Cons: Paper thin walls. Loose floorboards. Could hear everyone in rooms and halls. The coffee situation was weird. There's no coffee in rooms or lobby anytime you want it. There's a coffee bar, for purchase, with limited hours and no earlier than 7:30am. The restaurant and bar are the same. Not open till 5:30pm and close early.
