I wanted to like this place given the high google maps ratings but was disappointed that I booked it and wouldn’t recommend it to a friend — especially given the cost. To be fair, there are some good things: large room, kitchenette, 4 poster king bed, interesting quirky historic building, close to good restaurants, and the AC works well. But the bad outweighs the good: dreadful / non-existent service (not even a hello on arriving just a weary “check in?”), tired and random furniture throughout, room decor dreary and under-lit, little things helpful to travelers missing like tissue and a luggage stand (we used the floor), low quality in-room coffee, and it gets quite loud on weekends given it fronts Dauphine Street cars “blasting out”

We absolutely love it here. An amazing hidden gem in the Quarter.

The executive king room is amazing, like having our own apartment right in the heart of the French quarter. Very clean. Great hotel staff. Easy to walk everywhere. My only complaints would be the water pressure is non-existent, but I imagine with old plumbing it's hard to fix that. And the room has very tall windows with only blinds, no curtains, so it's bright when the sun rises.

Big room with super friendly staff. 1 block off bourbon street!

The room was beautiful! However, it was really cold in NOLA the time I was there and the downstairs was freezing. If I turned up the heat to warm the downstairs the top floor was extremely hot. Great location. It was easy to get around. The staff is very friendly and other than the temperature I had a great time.

We had a lovely time at Grenoble House. The location is perfect, it's a street away from Bourbon and an easy walk everywhere we wanted to go, including the Superdome. Our suite was spacious and even though it was street facing it was still relatively quiet. I will be staying here the next time I come to NOLA

We stayed just 1 day and were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded (I've never been upgraded before). I prefer to stay in boutique hotels over national brands, and this hotel is no exception. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with anything. While there is no breakfast, there is coffee available in the lobby. Everything is within walking distance. I parked my car (the cost is $45 around the corner) and forgot about it until we checked out. Will gladly stay here again.

Where to even begin - This place was more than I could have even imagined! The room (more like one bedroom apartment) was very nicely decorated and upgraded perfectly. I picked this place because I fell in love with their courtyard to have my Halloween Wedding and the photos did not do this place justice! The hotel staff Champagne and the Owner Vic were the literal best (as well as the other front desk staff)! They were so accommodating to me and my party. Champagne always greeted my guests and me with a smile and a great attitude which put my mind at ease during a time that would normally be stressful. Vic gave me free range to use the space as I envisioned and that was so great to be able to move things around as I pleased. He also texted me prior to my arrival and answered any questions I had since I had not even seen the space in person. That was super helpful to get an idea of what was needed or not needed for my big day.

My mother and her husband also stayed here and their room was equally as fantastic! They had a secluded space on the other side of the pool and it was perfect for them. The apartment style room was perfect to bring back meals to make for themselves and utilize the full kitchen, which they loved.

We did not utilize the pool or heated spa attached since it was 40 degrees on Halloween, but it was very well kept and other guests looked to thoroughly enjoy it! The space all-in-all was very clean and well kept!

I saw others did mention the location - We visit the Quarter often and the location of this hotel cannot be beat! You are just a few blocks away from the action and shopping on Royal and Bourbon, but have the luxury of a quiet, peaceful rest at night!

Thank you again Grenoble House for having us and making our wedding more than we could have ever dreamed!

Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly and perfect location! Spent a long weekend for the Halloween Parade, Krewe of Boo! Stayed in a two bedroom suite that was lovely. Pool and hot tub located in the back courtyard were just right. Would definitely stay here again and will tell my friends. Thank you!

The hotel was just what we wanted. A getaway with my father-in-law and brother-in-law for the Krewe of Boo and the 2 bedroom suite provided the perfect home base. We spent the days exploring the city and when we needed to refresh the common area was perfect.

Loved the charm we felt as soon as we walked in and were greeted by "Champagne" at the front desk. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the French Quarter.

My wife and I have been coming to New Orleans for many years. We've stayed at a wide range of places all over the city. The Grenoble House will always be our new home to visit when we are in New Orleans. The owner is by to check on things every day and his staff is on duty 24/7-- very attentive and helpful in every way. The rooms & suites are large, some alarmingly large. The rooms are recently remodeled but retain that old New Orleans feel, but with everything plumb & level. The courtyard is spacious with a nice small pool and always-on hot tub. No kids allowed. The location, literally, can't be beat. Parking is a snap with a secure public parking lot one block away. This place won't be the best kept secret in the French Quarter for very long.

Great location and lovely staff. The room was more like an apartment , big lounge and a huge bed. Just away from bourbon street so can walk everywhere but the hotel street is quiet

Cool small hotel, location can’t be beat. Close enough to be on Bourbon with a block and a half walk. Far enough to sleep without hearing Bourbon Street if you need a night off.

Secure, someone is always at the front desk to buzz you in after hours. Pool was too cold to use in October, but the outdoor hot tub was great for a couple people and available 24/7. Pool area is small but feels private and I thought it was much better than the pictures showed. I didn’t have a car so I can’t speak to that, no need to with this location.

Such a great find!

Highly recommend the Grenoble House. Before booking we searched for days for the perfect hotel to fit our needs. Taxi from airport dropped us off around 9 am. Checkout isn’t until 3, but they instantly allowed us to store our luggage until check in. The Queen suite includes a living room, full kitchen (with bowls, cups and waters provided for you) and the upstairs (up a small spiral staircase) is the king bed and bathroom. We walked to a local Walgreens and got some extra drinks and snacks to store in the full size fridge.

The front desk workers were all so kind each time we came through (which was often). You have to turn your key into the front desk each time you leave, but that was so helpful not having to worry about keeping up with your hotel key. If you arrive back at night, they buzz you in.

The Grenoble house is within walking distance of everything, but it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. Bourbon, Canal and Jackson Square are all just a few blocks or an easy walking distance from the hotel.

When we had to leave, the called taxi to take us to the airport (it was waiting for us when we got to the lobby).

I am a review reader when it comes to choosing hotels. Choose this place!

Such a charming and character filled place to stay for an authentic quarter experience! Love that I've stayed here 4 times and never seen the same room twice. Not sure I'll ever stay anywhere else when visiting the area. 20 + years of visiting the quarter and Grenoble house is the only place that's never disappointed!!!
