Hotel St. Charles with pleasant rooms and very spacious suites, some with private balconies.
This pleasant hotel is conveniently located on St. Charles Avenue in the Garden District, just a few streetcar stops from downtown and the French Quarter. The nicest rooms, though sometimes the noisiest depending on the season, are those overlooking the outdoor pool and whirlpool. As for the suites, they are very spacious and some of them have a whirlpool, a private balcony or a kitchenette (I really like the executive suite). To stretch your legs, a small gym is available.
