Occupying a manor house dating from 1890, this adults-only establishment offers an elegant and refined atmosphere. It's ideally located just a 3-minute walk from lively Avenue Saint-Charles, and close to many sites of interest, such as the National World War II Museum and the French Quarter. The hotel's 12 rooms are all tastefully decorated and offer free Wi-Fi, cable TV, en suite bathrooms, microwaves, mini-fridges, teapots and coffeemakers. Some rooms offer additional features such as a four-poster bed, antique furniture, private balcony, sofa bed and/or fireplace. Please note that most rooms are only accessible by stairs. The establishment also offers a leafy courtyard with shaded seating, as well as free parking at a nearby partner hotel. Breakfast is included in the room rate.

This was the worst hotel, and customer service experience, I've ever dealt with. When I got to my room, there were dead bugs by the window and fecal matter on the toilet seat. The room itself had a bad odor. I also discovered a huge (alive) cockroach. I attempted to call the front desk multiple times, no answer. I decided to end my stay and spoke to front desk about all these issues. The front desk person called Dori the owner and had me speak with her. Dori is the rudest, most unprofessional business owner ever. She never once apologized but instead blamed me for "not trying hard enough" to find staff to take care of this. There's no staff in the Queen Anne. They also did not answer the phone after multiple attempts. She also told me that this is Louisiana and to "get over the fact cockroaches get inside." I told her I will not be staying another night and therefore should not be charged for the entire reservation. She yelled at me saying that per their policy they do not issue refunds (I only wanted a refund for the additional night that I did not plan to stay there for due to these circumstances). After a screaming match (a first for me), she said she's done talking to me and hung up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. Ruined my trip.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We had a large room and balcony overlooking the street. It was hot the week we stayed there, that wasn't an issue though the room was very cool. We'll be back.
