Room was great and super clean. The service was fast and the valets come, grab your bags , and out them in the car for you. Make sure you have tip money. We will definitely be back

Ideally located away from the noise of Bourbon Street but close enough for a walk to it if that is your plan. A short walk to Canal Street if you opt for the shopping area. Easy walks to great restaurants and the WW2 museum.

Terrible rooms. It's that strong sewer smell that knocks me over when I come back to my room after long day at the convention center. Every single day...choking sewer smell. My colleague changed rooms since his furniture was broken dirty and stained...like from the curb of free furniture. Other folks on the shuttle bus kept talking about their rooms so bad but afraid to change in case they are worse. I asked for an iron board 3 times until i went to the front desk and waited for one. Staff kindly explained they had to find and take one from another room because they break. Guess iron boards are just too expensive for the Double Tree. One last thought, I was asking the ACS why and how hotels are picked for the block rate for a large convention. They didn't know. I want to apologize to our foreign visitors that traveled from all over the World for the poor state our hotels and condition of New Orleans. Money not patriotism or pride of ownership, and of course no oversight of the industry.

The best part of this hotel is the location. It is directly across the street from the casino and only a short walk to the French Quarter. Those are huge pluses! The room has some age to it, as other reviewers have noted, but that wasn’t an issue for us. It was clean and comfortable. The primary issue we had was hallway noise. There was a group of teenagers starting on our floor. They were regularly opening and closing (slamming) doors and talking loudly. They were generally quiet at night but the sounds made it impossible to rest peacefully during the day. Not the biggest deal, but enough to knock the rating down one star.

Well priced, close to multiple tourists attractions.

Black mold in the restroom sink. The need for a hotel key for Elevator should be explained.

I’ve stayed at this particular hotel when I visited Nola. I absolutely love the location because it’s close to the mall, restaurants, and streetcar. The staff is always friendly and the housekeeping keeps my room tidy. The room itself is pretty standard and so is the lobby. The beds are fairly comfy and have mini fridges in the room which is a plus! The icing on the cake is…THOSE WARM CHOCOLATE CHIP WALNUT COOKIES!!! They are to die for and I make sure I get mine everyday of my stay for dessert.

Great location, close proximity to Bourbon street and many shops along Canal, close to restaurants and casino and a mall and aquarium. The staff customer service is not great, and the room I was in had substantial water damage in the closet, along the bathroom door, on the ceiling outside of the closet, there was even water seeping from the wall. None of this is a good thing, risks for mold and clearly a persistent problem given the rust and poor paint jobs to cover things up. Unfortunately, I would consider staying there again but it is only due to the location. Oh and where are the chocolate chip cookies?!

We have been to this Doubletree at least 7 times. Every time we come to NOLA, we always have an amazing experience here. The latest time, Terrence helped us in the front desk and he was amazing! Super friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful to our entire group, especially putting us all together. Will definitely continue to come back!!!

Nice hotel in a convenient location. You could tell the rooms had a bit of wear and tear on them, but it was clean. Easy walk to the attractions....french quarter is only about a half mile away. Decent experience overall.

Great location. Rooms need a little help. The restroom was tiny when you enter rust is on the door plate. The lamps in the room were leaning and it's very few outlets. I guess I was looking for more luxury and this Doubletree isn't the case. Oh and the sink was stopped up the entire stay.

Thank you to Ebony at the front desk for accommodating us after a red eye flight. We arrived at 6am and she was able to get 2/3 of our rooms checked in early so we could rest before going out. I was fully expecting to drop our bags and come back in the afternoon. You have no idea how much that set our trip off on the right foot. ???? Great hotel, we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was in great location. Staff was very friendly. Close to everything we wanted to do. Was able to watch Mardi Gras parades right outside hotel. Could go inside to warm up or use restroom. Resturant convenient to get a bite to eat between parades. Withing walking distance to cruise port which was a plus for us. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Rooms were pretty average. The air filter in our room was filthy causing cough and sneezing. We asked multiple times for room to be cleaned but was not done. Had to visit front desk for toilet paper.

Also multiple false fire alarms went off causing inconvienience and no sleep.

The security and the location was amazing. Quick walk to many places.

I didn't have a room here I did visit the eatery on the property they were pretty good the food and drinks were pricey as hell though. Sad how places want to cap off people coming in from out of town I HATE that ..
