SPRINGHILL SUITES NEW ORLEANS DOWNTOWN / CONVENTION CENTER ^{* * *}

This would be a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting for a conference or event at the convention center or preparing for a cruise departing from New Orleans. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and the continental breakfast had a lot of good options, including scrambled eggs. (No waffle maker for those of you who live for continental breakfast waffles, but the eggs made up for that for me.) We had a minor issue with housekeeping scheduling during our 4-night stay, but the front desk staff and manager resolved the matter quickly when we brought it to their attention. There were also a few odd maintenance issues with our room, including inconsistent water temperature in the shower and a tricky deadbolt on the door, but overall nothing that adversely affected our experience significantly. I would probably not choose this location again for a visit to New Orleans only because it is on the edge of downtown, so we were at least a 16 minute walk from anything we wanted to see, and from the streetcar. We opted not to rent a car, so this resulted in a LOT of walking, but it was well worth the walking for the lower price than other hotels for this trip.

Perfect for my parade route. First room was big but horrible beds and furniture. Ajoining rooms were much better and very nice. Key cards semi functional most of the time. Good stay.

This is our go to place when we visit. The rooms are plush and the staff super friendly. Very easy to get to the hotel.

Perfect location. Easy walk to Harrahs and short drive to the cruise terminal. Nice room, very friendly staff. Fairly priced rooms and parking.

Very close to the convention center, rooms were a bit dated, breakfast was good.
