Only stayed for one night. The room was spacious with a decent sized bed, But this was about the extent of it. Had to Wake up early to a cold shower with low water pressure in my room even when on full blast.

Great hotel and staff was super friendly and attentive. The hotel staff sent a gift and card to our room in celebration of our 23rd wedding anniversary. Great hospitality and central location to everywhere I needed to go

I love it here!! This hotel is so beautiful and perfectly located downtown. Complimentary snacks waiting at the front door. I love Hilton

Excellent location and close to everything. Their service was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The attention of their employees was excellent. A cozy hotel that we will visit again.

Amazing customer service! The hotel lobby and sitting area was spotless. My room was spacious. The beds are full size beds, not queens…. I repeat beds are small. The bathroom was not thoroughly clean before my arrival and during my visit. Toilet had mold throughout. Shower walls were dirty. Towels were damp. Check your comforter on beds before laying under… DOWNS COMFORTER HAD NOT BEEN WASHED IN MONTHS!!! Totally disgusting!!!! Shai at front desk was amazing when I came with complaints. No one from hotel management has followed up with me! Stay here if it’s your last resort.

Update: I contacted Joel, the general manager after he replied to my review here. While he was not able to provide a refund for the our unused breakfast credits at the attached Luke restaurant (he said due to me booking through a 3rd party site, Expedia), he was able to offer me Hilton Honor rewards points instead. I appreciate that he was able to discuss & address the service issue we encountered by doing this.
Original review:
First: if you plan on staying at this hotel and plan on adding breakfast service at additional cost at the attached Luke restaurant, do NOT add it as you will not receive a refund for your remaining prepaid breakfast credits at the hotel if there are any issues at the restaurant. We paid $50 a day for breakfast for all 4 days of our stay and only went once due to very poor service at Luke. This cost us $150 in unused breakfast credits. There are other, better breakfast options on the same block.
This hotel was OK. It looks nicer online. It was a long wait to check in and it seemed like the first person I encountered at the front desk might have been a new hire. She did not apologize for my wait time as she tried to figure out how to check me in (about 5-10 minutes). After a poor breakfast experience at the attached Luke restaurant which we prepaid for, hotel management would not offer any type of adjustment to our bill claiming there was nothing they could do. So I guess nobody at the hotel, including management, can make your experience better if you encounter a major issue at the hotel. The rooms at the hotel were spacious and cleaned every day. This hotel is in a great location and close to all of the attractions in New Orleans. I was disappointed that they did not have coffee in the lobby after 11AM like most hotels do as it was desperately needed since we didn't receive service at the attached restaurant.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights - it was during St. Patrick's day weekend so things were busy. The hotel could be nice if it was updated. We stayed on the third floor which wasn't the floor I had picked but they had a king room ready and we took it. The room was spacious but undecorated (literally no other furniture except for a bed and two nightstands), the carpet was very old and dirty, the bathroom was small, and the bathroom had a weird, outdated wooden sliding door. The room was not the cleanest. At no point during our stay was our room cleaned well nor were our sheets changed.
As other people have mentioned, there is a certain dampness to the rooms. I could see old mold stains on the ceiling of the bathroom and outside of the bathroom too. I know NOLA is humid but things can be done to combat the dampness inside.
The hotel is getting three stars because it functions and has a nice location. It's in the CBD but you are close to everything. It is also quiet at night.
It is surprising that this is a Hilton property as it is really not maintained well. I hope this hotel gets updated as I probably wouldn't stay here again. It was disappointing that this is what I used my Hilton points on.

Very friendly and competent staff. Really appreciated the upgrade! Location is ok but the entire hotel reeks of mildew.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and it is a great location as well. Only thing I would be advised about is the beds. Those are not Queen size beds. More like Full. But they sleep great. And pillows are nice & fluffy. The hotel was great.

Not a bad spot. Pretty close to Bourbon St., convention center is an easy 10-15 minute walk and it’s not a crazy busy street. Room was as expected. Housekeeping a little aggressive the morning of checkout. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly.
Chris the bellman was the real star. Held my bag the day of checkout, wished me safe travels, and even got me a cab to the airport in about three minutes flat (cheaper than Uber, by the way). He was courteous, professional, and went out of his way to help me even after I apologized and said I had no cash for a tip. Chris, you da real MVP.

Checked in a corner room double bed and king suite. There is nothing sweet about the suite. The double was far nicer. In the king suite both televisions were broken. After five hours around 10:30 pm a sweet man named Martin swapped one of the tvs from another room. He was super nice. Day two… spent the morning in the garden district - back at 1:30. the room had not been cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned. Returning back at 4:30pm, the bed was made for the most part save for the pillows on the ground. Dirty glass, dirty glass table, no replacement glasses. Big disappointment.Shower water pressure not terribly strong and water was okay temp-wise - just not hot.we are here two more nights. I’ll leave any updates.
Update- today we returned to a nicely cleaned room. The second TV was never replaced. I appreciate the manager monitors reviews

Location is perfect - just off the French Quarter but walking distance to whatever you want - and hotel is beautiful. Luke's was amazing, definitely try the Brussel sprouts! The room had mold and leaks so the attention to detail was lacking.

The room smells like humidity and kind of moldy. Not very pleasant. The location is nice.

The location is fantastic! Very close to Bourbon Street and, and the same time is very close to other attractions if you go in the opposite direction! Many restaurants and small stores are nearby. You do need to have a car living in the hotel area! Very good.
Rooms can be noisy a bit but being very sensitive to the noise I was sleeping well. Recommend the Hotel.

I stayed here for 2 days. You can't beat the price in this neighborhood. The hotel was Royal. It was near French quarters. It has a bar downstairs and it has many options for food and drinks. I highly recommend this place. Public transport is also just outside the property.

The location was great I took my family here for my daughter's birthday and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was awesome , all of the staff members were friendly and helpful. I appreciated all of the courtesy. The elevators were fast which was a plus being that we were on the sixteenth floor. The window view was great even though one of the windows had a crack in it which allowed an unlimited draft and it was cold , a heater would've been nice, but we still had a great time.

Was a very pleasant stay and offered Hilton reliability. Food was good and breakfast pleasing but staff could be more attentive, just left waiting!
Interesting that NO plug existed in room or an adapter available from reception to charge a phone.
How nice if you could get coffee other than filtered I.e. Latte.

We arrived after dark and were dropped off 2 blocks from the Hilton, and walked 4 blocks looking for the Hilton because of Madi Gra parades. We probably walked by the Hilton 2x because the sign was obscured by the Hilton's grand stand. Once we arrived, parade attendies were walking in & out w/out being questioned, BUT we were asked to wear 'security' bracelets. The 2 clerks were on the phone 'disregarding' guests check-ing in. Once off the phone, the1st clerk was distainful and unwelcoming, and the 2nd clerk never got off the phone. We bussed our own luggage to our room n left for dinner. Arriving at the Hilton that 1st evening the 'Hilton' @ St Charles is was only a Hilton in name only. HOWEVER, the clerk checking us out was cordial and welcoming. The rooms were clean and appointed appropriately, BUT none of charging points worked and we had to plug our chargers in, in the bathroom.
The room was extremely clean, and the maid came every day to clean (including making the bed, mopping the floors and little touches like making a rosette with the facial tissue), which is a rarity nowadays as many hotels no longer offer daily cleaning.
Front desk staff (young man with short curly hair), and Chris and Delwin are both extremely great bellboys/security staff. They were quick with the key cards to open up for us, and were always willing to provide directions or help with anything. I have stayed in many Hiltons and this was the best service ever.
We felt safe knowing you had to have a key card to get in the building. The community coffee down in the lobby in the morning was also something nice to have, along with a microwave in lobby to warm up anything you may want. There is a small fridge, coffee maker, and safe in the room.
We didn't get room service from Luke's Restaurant downstairs, but it was a very popular option and it was nice to know some tasty food could be had if we had chosen.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
