PLACE D'ARMES HOTEL ^{* * *}

Excellent location- right in the French quarter. Gorgeous rooms, superb service, rooftop parking!

My family stayed here for almost a week. Location is perfect and is a great launch point as almost everything you want to go see is within walking distance. If you want to explore further there is a trolley station within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Patrice at the front desk was always cheerful and helpful. All the rest of the staff were also very nice and eager to help or answer any questions. We reserved 2 rooms but they were originally not very close together, front desk staff was able to fix that for us when we checked in. The rooms themselves were fine. We stayed in the windowless rooms which I wasn't sure about but they were fine. Various items in the rooms could probably use some upgrades or repairs but really not that big of a deal. The bathrooms in each hotel room look like they were recently modernized which was nice. Overall, we had a wonderful stay here and will probably stay at this hotel again next time we visit.

Affordable place in a prime location with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces! Most importantly, the staff were so friendly and helpful. They remembered us and always seemed happy to see us. They really went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

We stayed four nights at Place d’Armes in an interior windowless room. The location is perfect! You’re so close to shops and landmarks. We were able to walk everywhere. The employees are so attentive and helpful. They gave us recommendations, scheduled our cab, and made sure everything went smoothly. It was above and beyond what I’m used to when traveling. The rooms are very nice with updated bathrooms. Most importantly, they were very clean! I do wish the rooms had luggage racks, mine did not, so I had to leave my suitcase on the floor. I’m not sure if I could’ve requested one or not, I didn’t try. The interior room was very quiet. The courtyard is beautiful! We had such a great time and would definitely stay again when we return to New Orleans!
