No free breakfast, no free parking, internet is $11/night. For a $150+ hotel you would think they would cater to their guests a little more.

It's a nice hotel overall--great location, good front desk staff, good housekeeping, good decor, and good common areas such as business center, lobby, restaurant, etc.
That said, I'm not sure I'd actually stay here again because the rooms desperately need to be dehumidified. It was really humid in the room and it made it uncomfortable to be in the room at times. And this was with weather conditions to be very mild (50s-60s and moderate humidity). I can't even imagine how uncomfortably this room could've been under hot and humid weather conditions, which is New Orleans about half the year.

If you can find a housekeeper they only change the linens every three days unless you request otherwise. Room was very small but clean and close to everything. Convention center is directly across the street, Jackson Square is about a 15-20min walk...and Bourbon St. is only 2-3 blocks from there. The aquarium and Riverwalk Mall are just across the street from the hotel. Check in and out was a breeze. Overall, a good stay; nothing wow.

Stayed here for one night. Had no complaints at all. Great location and walkable to French Quarters, Bourbon street and few great bars. Would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, incredibly professional staff, a little bit off the beaten path, but that can be nice if you want to settle into quiet at the end of the day and not be in the heart of all the craziness. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very hit or miss. I was ther for 4 days and service was fantastic from one person and very lacking from the next. The vallet would get my car quickly and then the next time it would take over 35 minutes with no one else waiting in line. My room was cleaned well by those after I checked in but when I first got to my room it wasn't cleaned well. Same with the food. I wanted to love this place but it was hard when you never know what your gonna get.

We left our swimming suits hanging on the bathroom and now they are nowhere to be found. Hotel staff does not seem to be making any effort at all to search for them. On top of that I agree with other comments about the stay being ordinary. Many things are old or not working including the elevator and steam room.

Great hotel, safe area, close to restaurants, and the conference center.

Overall decent experience within walking distance to many of the Mardi Gras parades. Our room definitely need maintenance work. Standard experience with a Marriott brand. Good experience overall.

The hotel itself is decent, not worth the price but a good hotel. So far our stay here has been very ordinary. Nothing super great.
Parking is our biggest issue. We came during Carnival season and booked through a third party company. Valet parking is listed a “perk” but no one said it was the only parking option and you’re charged for it DAILY whether you use it daily or not. I don’t feel like you should be charged for a valet service if you are not using it and to me this theft straight of our pocket. When we are told by the staff to use the valet parking and then not told about the fee, this leaves a bad stain on our experience. As we are in the middle of our stay currently I will update this review later if the staff seems to make this right.

We booked this hotel months in advance for our cruise that leaves Sunday. Well by blind luck one of the best Mardi Gras parades went right in front of our hotel. They upgraded our room to a street view to watch it from the room. But we went out front to bask in the fun

I’ve stayed in a few Marriott locations around the area but I like this one best. The room was very clean, a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I LOVED that the bathroom had a REAL door not a sliding pocket door and it looks like it had a functional fan at one time but it didn’t work in our room. There is also a little electronic gadget at the door that displays “do not disturb” and “make up room” rather than a door hanger, we loved that. The area around the hotel is great and walking distance to Cochon, one of our favorites. It’s only two blocks to the the Canal streetcar routes. The staff was delightful. Every encounter we had and I’ve already got my next trip booked here. It’s a little bit of a quieter sidestreet than Canal is, and I liked the view from our room. The area around it is VERY walkable as well

Great hotel with a wonderful vibe that is centrally located in the Warehouse District. Excellent staff, great rooms and interior rooms that are super quiet. Beautiful art throughout the hotel and in the rooms. Wonderful dining options inside the hotel too! VIP lounge was nice.

I recently stayed on a work trip. The hotel is clean and in a nice location. The front desk staff was pretty disengaged but the housekeeping staff was great. Would definitely stay again. ????

Claims to have double queen rooms, however, they do not have queen beds. They are smaller

Great staff and comfortable room.
Also, many thanks to Paul Faith (Director of Operations) and Lisa Burns for the periodic updates on the pool project, the business center and most of all for giving me my favorite room. I look forward to visiting again later this year! Thank you again to everyone.
