It's hard to miss this sprawling temple of luxury on Canal Street, true to the Ritz-Carlton brand's standing. Housed in the historic Beaux-Arts-style White House, with antiques and art displayed here and there, the hotel offers guests over 500 rooms and suites, some with balconies. A farm-to-table restaurant is also on site, as well as a lounge with live music, a health spa and a gym.

Many things were not good!! But, the only thing that is not acceptable is they reuse the products in the room. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. If you take any of these products they charge you $70.00 per item. I wanted to take the rest of the body lotion until I read the card. I would not have used it had I known it had been used before me!! Very disgusting, and not sanitary!!

I decided to do a staycation for my birthday and spent two nights here. The room was extremely clean…probably the most clean I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The restaurant is delicious, from the breakfast buffet to the small bites in the Davenport Lounge. I don’t know what they put in the pancakes but I cannot stop thinking about them. The spa was excellent! The location is everything and an easy walk to the Saegar Theater and restaurants. Valet was quick, efficient and the staff were very professional. I had a great time and highly recommend the Ritz Carlton! I’ll definitely be back for my next staycation.

Great location , the rooms itself are very small. I wouldn't consider this a t star hotel I switched to a better hotel. Roosevelt and Kimpton are a billion times better. This should be classified a 3 star hotel.
