The bar is dark, and it houses many of Napoleon's effigies. Nicholas Girod, owner of the house and mayor of the city from 1815 to 1812, complotait with the pirate Jean Lafitte to issue the French emperor of his exile in St. Helena. The expedition set up was interrupted by Napoleon's death. Stay the house in his honour. A great place to drink a drink. The pimm's cup is the home cocktail to try.
