THE KINGPIN

In the opinion of many, the Kingpin is the best dive bar in town. Even Anthony Bourdain praised it in his series The Layover with Anthony Bourdain during the New Orleans episode. A well-kept secret and frankly off the beaten path, it's clearly one of the most laid-back places in town. And as if we didn't like the atmosphere enough, the Kingpin often hosts live entertainment, mostly right on the sidewalk.
