For four days, the French Quarter is transformed into a large open-air party. Stages are set up at various locations and the program is centered around jazz and various styles prevalent in Louisiana, such as Cajun folk music, funk and Creole soul. Special events are also on the program such as the festival's opening parade, evening shows in the hotels and dance lessons. There will also be numerous food booths featuring local cuisine.

Pour tous les amateurs de musique, à faire absolument, entièrement gratuit, 14 scènes sont réparties dans la ville, où des groupes différends enchainent tout au long de la journée. ambiance très festive, il y a des stands partout pour manger et boire , et de la musique aussi dans la rue, toute la ville chante et danse, c'est vraiment formidable
